A bride standing on a rock at Peggy's Cove in the middle of winter, with ice in the harbour and the tide coming in. Winter weddings are rarer, and this one gave us fishing sheds, a grey sky, snow on the granite and a bride who was game for all of it. We shot from low down so the rock lifts her above the harbour, then converted to black and white to hold the whole range from the ice to the clouds. Peggy's Cove is about an hour from Halifax and it is a location we know in every season and every kind of weather, which matters when the forecast changes on the morning of the wedding. Wedding photography across Nova Scotia since 1995, two photographers at every wedding.
