Westin Nova Scotian Chefs Preparing Appetizers at an Outdoor Halifax Event

Chefs from the Westin Nova Scotian plating appetizers on an ice display under a tent at an outdoor event in Halifax. Event photography is as much about the people making the event happen as it is about the guests, and the kitchen team working in their whites is often the most photogenic part of the day. We shot this with available light under the tent and a long lens so the chef in the foreground stayed sharp while the rest of the team worked behind him. The Westin on Hollis Street is one of the venues we photograph most often for corporate dinners, conferences, and galas. Corporate and event coverage in Halifax has been part of our work since 1995, and images like this one are the ones venues and caterers ask to use on their own sites.
