A University of British Columbia graduate photographed in our Halifax-area studio - gown, blue-trimmed hood, and the CFL football that tells the rest of his story. Plenty of out-of-province and out-of-country grads come to us when they are home in Nova Scotia, and we are happy to work with regalia they bring or rent for the session. The ball was his idea, and it is exactly the kind of detail we encourage: something that says what the years of school were really about. We photographed this in the 1,200 square foot studio at 19 Diana Drive in Hammonds Plains with a classic backdrop and soft directional light. Both of us photograph every grad session, and the formal portrait is always done first so the fun frames can follow.
