Maria Panopalis CTV News Anchor Headshot

A three-quarter length headshot of CTV News anchor Maria Panopalis in a red blazer over black, on a white background. The red was Maria's choice and it is the right one - on a white background a strong colour holds the frame, and it matches the confidence she brings on air. We photographed this at CTV Atlantic on Robie Street in Halifax with a portable studio setup, shooting both a tight head-and-shoulders version for the website and this longer version for promotional use. When we photograph a broadcast team we keep the lighting and background identical from person to person so the station's pages look consistent, and that is true whether we are doing two people or twenty. Professional headshots have been part of our Halifax work since 1995.
