Halifax Headshot - Nova Scotia Premier Stephen McNeil

A professional headshot of Stephen McNeil, who served as Nova Scotia's 28th Premier and as the MLA for Annapolis. Navy suit, patterned tie, white background, and the direct, steady expression a headshot for public office needs. We photographed this on location in downtown Halifax with a portable studio setup - two lights and a white backdrop - which is how we handle most of our executive and government headshot work. The white background is deliberate: it drops into any website, annual report, or press release without a cutout, and it is the standard for most Halifax organizations. We have been photographing professional headshots in Halifax since 1995, and a large share of that work is done on site at offices, legislature buildings, and newsrooms rather than in our Hammonds Plains studio.
