Bedford Sisters Studio Close-Up

A tight studio close-up of two sisters from Bedford, cheek to cheek, glasses and all. Most family sessions produce the classic group picture, but we always make time for a few frames like this - close, quiet, and about one detail. Here it is the eyes, and the fact that the two of them chose matching frames in different colours. We photographed this in our studio at 19 Diana Drive in Hammonds Plains, where a 1,200 square foot space lets us control the light completely. Glasses are never a problem with studio lighting; we position the lights so reflections stay out of the lenses, which is one of the reasons parents of kids in glasses come to us. Sisters, brothers, cousins - this kind of portrait works for any pair.
