A dad and his two kids sitting in the fallen leaves in front of their home on a fall afternoon. Photographing a family at their own house is something we suggest often - the house becomes part of the record, and years later that matters more than any park. The maple by the front door had just turned, so we used it as the background and kept the family low in the leaves. On-location family sessions like this one are available across Halifax, Bedford, and Hammonds Plains, and two photographers come to every session, which makes a difference when a kid on Dad's shoulders needs a hand and the other one needs a joke.
