Sunset Drone Wedding Photo in a Nova Scotia Field

A bride and groom crossing a hayfield hand in hand at sunset, photographed from the air. This is the newest kind of frame in our wedding work: we fly a drone when the location and the light justify it, and a late-summer evening with the sun dropping behind the treeline is exactly that. From above, the field becomes the whole picture and the couple becomes the one small point everything leads to, with her train catching the last of the light. It is a quiet, wide-open frame we usually make in the ten minutes after dinner, while guests settle in for the speeches. With two photographers at every wedding, one of us can be in the air while the other keeps working on the ground, so nobody misses a moment to get a picture like this.
