Digby Pines Wedding - Bride's Veil in the Wind

The bride's veil caught in the wind among the pine trees at Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa. Digby sits on the Bay of Fundy, and the wind off the water gave us this: a veil stretched out full length while she held one end of it. A flash on the bride let us darken the trees around her, and a slower shutter speed kept a little movement in the tulle. We used the resort's pines as the backdrop because they are the thing everyone remembers about Digby Pines. It is one of the venues we are asked about most often, and we have photographed there many times, about two and a half hours from our Hammonds Plains studio. Wedding photography across Nova Scotia since 1995, two photographers at every wedding.
