Bride and Groom Ride in a Police Car, Halifax Wedding

A bride and groom waving from the back of a police car, with their officer friend at the wheel. Not every wedding needs a limousine. This couple had a friend on the force and a sense of humour, and the ride between the ceremony and the reception became one of the best pictures of the day. We shot it through the open front window, which is why the frame has that slightly conspiratorial feel, and we had the second photographer on the sidewalk for the wide view of the car pulling away. Fun is part of the job: if a couple has an idea, we will find a way to photograph it well. Wedding photography in Halifax and across Nova Scotia, two photographers at every wedding since 1995.
