Why we offer handmade Italian albums, how Kate designs them, what they cost, and how the process works from deposit to delivery.
Your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event captured in hundreds of photographs. In the digital age, where do those images end up? Often lost in the cloud or forgotten on a hard drive. We believe your day deserves a more prominent place in your life and home, which is why we offer professionally designed, Italian-made wedding albums.
Kate has designed our albums for more than 15 years. She curates and arranges your images to tell the story of the day, and while she handles the initial selection, you always have the final say on the layout and on which images are included. Every album reflects your taste, not a template.
The answer is craftsmanship. Our albums are handmade in Italy with attention to every detail, and the result is a durable keepsake that becomes a family heirloom. We have worked with the same company for more than 15 years and they have consistently produced albums we are proud to hand over.
Most couples spend between $1,000 and $2,000 + HST, with additional pages or the Deluxe size. You are not just purchasing an album - you are keeping a tangible piece of your family's history.
Clone album - from $595 + HST. Approximately 12" x 8", 40 pages with up to 80 images, using the same layout as your album.
Stand-alone album - from $895 + HST. Approximately 12" x 8", 20 pages with up to 40 images, one image per page.
A $500 deposit starts the design. Kate will ask whether you would like to choose some favourite images or let her make the initial selection - either way, you have the last word on the design and the images. The design phase usually takes about 10 days. Once you approve it, the balance is due and the album goes into production in Italy, which takes roughly six weeks including shipping. It requires a little patience, and it is worth the wait.
We couldn't be happier with our albums, they are beautiful. They are just so different and so professionally done. Our parents were floored when we gave them their albums. We shared the album with family in PEI and they all said they had never seen anything like it. - Lindsay
