We love shooting in Dartmouth. From the waterfront with that epic Halifax backdrop to the quaint downtown area with cool side-streets - there's lots to work with. Even the hotels have character including the new Delta Hotels Dartmouth.
We snuck out at dusk with Connie and Jeff to see if we could find some cool and edgy shots. With only a few minutes to work, we found this spot around the corner from the main entrance to the hotel. At first Kate positioned a flash to the left of the bride but it seemed to compete with the overhead light too much so we took away the flash, adjusted the exposure and this is what we came up with. It didn't hurt that our bride has a long, lean, curvy shape that fit the space perfectly.
