Well what a day for weather!! It was "rainfall warning in effect" and "thunder showers" for the evening. Now I am not sure if you know but rainfall warnings and lighting can be scary with camera gear, light stands and metal tripods so we were on the fence about going forward...the sun tricked us all into coming out to play (it came out in full force) and then completely hid away. But the cool foggy evening kept the couple close and added a cool mood to the photos!

| We had a gorgeous night in Chester last week for Katie and Scott's engagement session. Like most couples, they were a little apprehensive at first but it wasn't long before they got into a groove. |

| Emily & Scott were FABULOUS to work with, they didn't let a little bit (or even a lot) of rain get in their way. They were such a considerate couple, instead of being worried about her hair, dress, makeup etc, Emily was worried about my wet feet and camera gear! (and I was worried about her....it was a mutual caring!) We had a great time being a part of their special day, and are so happy that these two tied the knot...Oh and Emily, did you see me crying at your Kermit & Miss Piggy bit? I don't see the physical resemblance, but know exactly what you mean! |

| Lise Anne & Terry loved being in front of the camera. We had the opportunity to sneak out of the dance to get a few more photos, and am I ever glad we did! It was really hard to pick a favorite! |

| Often referred to as a 'trash the dress' session, Juanita & Clayton were up a 5:00am the morning after their wedding to join me for what turned out to be a really cool session. Working on less than two hours of sleep, I was amazed at their energy level as we played around for a couple of hours all over the city! |

| Juanita & Clayton were married on the Tall Ship Silva last weekend, and what an amazing wedding it was. The Silva was such a unique location and made the wedding so intimate and personal. I love how in this image you can see Halifax, Dartmouth, all the friends and family who were celebrating with them and of course the beautiful couple dancing at sunset! |
