On a recent shoot, I met some amazing business and community leaders here in Halifax who are coming together with a lofty goal in mind. They're aiming to raise $100,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society in Nova Scotia in the annual Relay For Life. Not only are they hoping to raise a lot of money, they want to be the number one team in the country!
The Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life is an overnight non-competitive relay that celebrates cancer survivors and pays tribute to loved ones. It's a night of fun, friendship and fundraising to beat cancer.

With Sophia now at 15 months, it's easy to forget how much smaller she once was. We've also been working with a lot of older babies lately so it was fun to spend some time with Jacob who's just one month into this world.
Jacob was the perfect baby for an hour and a half - he was so alert and great to look at the camera! His parents Mary and Dwayne did really well too :) |

| We're finally getting around to posting more images from our session with Avril and her family from last weekend. Here is her son Nathan. He's a beautiful child - very bright and fun to be around - I think he gets that from his parents :) |
| It's always nice to continue a relationship with clients after their wedding. We've done family pictures with Heather and Paul and their first son Jared last summer. Last weekend we got to meet their new addition, Jayden. What a happy (and large) 4-month old baby boy! Heather had the great idea of using a mirror in some of the shots. |
| We just got our maternity session with Natasha & Louis done in time. Between our session on Thursday and this post today, they had a beautiful baby girl - Alina Renee!! Kate and I are so excited for you!! |
